Post-humanising creativity approach in eco-art projects to foster greater empathy with nature by Tuong Nguyen

Last year Art and Energy has the pleasure of meeting Tuong Nguyen when she joined us for our Art and Agency eco-anxiety sessions in Exeter. Tuong is an art practitioner and educator, passionate about applying arts for creativity, well-being, sustainable development and was studying for a Masters (MA) in Creative Arts in Education at the University of Exeter.

Tuong used our artwork, The Mossy Carpet as the case study for her dissertation research project - Post-humanising creativity approach in eco-art projects to foster greater empathy with nature.

The dissertation is an interesting read, proving empathy and understanding of nature can be increased through the eco-art style practices such as those we use within our work. Tuong’s thoughts and analysis of The Mossy Carpet as the case study speaks of the impact of our work and proves how successful our creative arts practice can be.
