Mossy fun with Scouting Squirrels

Art and Energy’s Jenny recently spent a wonderful afternoon exploring all things mossy with the Keyham Squirrels (the most junior section of Scouts). Jenny introduced the youngsters to moss, using hands-on exploring with magnifiers to zoom in on these species of plants. Next the Squirrels created and decorated their very own mini jam jar terrariums with a tiny pieces of moss sourced from an urban area.

Finally the whole group got stuck in making moss inspired woolly pompoms to add to our artwork The Mossy Carpet.
