Meet the Clean Streets project artist - Millbay Academy

Art and Energy have commissioned local artists to create an energy themed sticker to decorate an electric vehicle feeder pillar box in Plymouth City centre for our Clean Streets project.

We are delighted to welcome Year 9 students at Millbay Academy and their art teacher Lottie Taylor to the project.

To kick start the Clean Streets project with the students, Art and Energy spent a fantastic morning at Millbay Academy running an art based energy workshop in partnership with Lottie Taylor. The students really enjoyed the collaging techniques in the workshop and will continue this theme for their final design.

Millbay Academy is an all-through school in Plymouth’s Coastal Quarter and part of the Reach South Academy Trust. Find out more about Millbay Academy.

The students’ designs can be seen below and one of these will shortly be on display on Hobart Street, Plymouth, PL1 3DG. (Art and Energy have a tricky decision to make on which to select as we love them both!)
