The Mossy Carpet

Art and Energy have recently been included on the IUCN Peatland Programme’s website on the new Species Showcase: Sphagnum page.

The IUCN UK Peatland Programme exists to promote peatland restoration in the UK and advocates the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice.

The Species Showcase page aims to tell the story of Sphagnum moss, how it forms an ecosystem vital to healthy bogs and peatland systems and the damage of human impact on this important and diverse bryophyte species.

Art and Energy’s work features discussing our peatland restoration How to Bury the Giant work on Dartmoor and to showcase our ‘pompom moss’ inspired artwork The Mossy Carpet.
